![]() I for one feel that it has a very jazzy quality to it, and as such can produce a really funky sound when used properly.Įpiphone began in the late 1800’s, spawning multiple acoustic guitars and basses, for which they garnered much praise. It’s sound is very transparent, almost brisk. Most of the hardware is made of Nickel, although its contrast with the guitar is notable and have led others to change their hardware accordingly. ![]() It features two Gibson P-90 pickups and a trapese-type tailpiece, although many enjoy replacing it with a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. The Casino is a hollow-body guitar with a set neck joint, a laminated maple body, a mahogany (sometimes maple, depending on era of production) neck and a rosewood (or ebony) fretboard. The Casino is in reality, Epiphone’s version of the Gibson ES-300, with an identical look and sound to its predecessor. As there isn’t much to say in an intro of this sort, let’s jump right in! Today, I’ll be reviewing one of the guitars I currently own and find to be a wonderful purchase: the Epiphone Casino.
